Qamar Ali Darga Shivapur

Hi All, in this post I would like to introduce you all to another wonderful place which is again a mystery which is unresolved till date. The place is called Qamar Ali Darga. It's in a village called Shivapur. Shivapur is on Pune Satara road approx 40 kilometres from Pune. The story goes like this. There is a round granite stone weighing around 80 kg apprx is lying in the Darga. It is unmoved by any strong persons or group of persons. But if eleven men when use their right index finger to lift and when they jointly say "Qamar Ali" the stone rises to their head level as it's weightless. This is truly an amazing site to witness. Many curious minds tried their wild thinking but could not get any clue how this happens.

Almost 6 centuries back, Qamar Ali was born to simple middle class Muslim family. That time Muslim men used to pride in their mighty muscalar power and use to exhibit their body strength by pulling big stones using their hair teeth etc. Unlike Qamar Ali's mighty brothers he was calm and shy person. He spent his most of his childhood time with a Muslim Saint where he learnt some mystic powers to heal diseases of people, solve their problems. Soon there used to be a great long queues of his disciples. Unfortunately Qamar Ali died at very young age. While he was on death bed, he has told his disciples to keep large round stone near his tomb and told them whenever 11 men lift it using their right index finger and call him jointly, he will make the stone to rise to their head level. So disciples did as he instructed from that time till today when 11 men lift it with their finger by calling him in one voice the stone rises to their head level.

Huljanti Malingraya

Huljanti, one of famous place in three states viz Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. This place is famous for a big fair of Lord Mahalingaraya (Lord Shiva). The fair is the main attraction which is on the occasion of Diwali and millions of people worship Lord Mahalingaraya's "Mundas Darshan" on that day.. Its a small village located on a sub river of Bhima named Dodda Nala. It is on Pandharpur-Vijapur Highway and 21 km from Mangalwedha. I would like to emphasize on the special attraction "Mundaas Darshan" in this post. Mundaas is a fine woven cloth with the most beutiful and unique design in the world. It's percieved that the design pattern color etc visible on mundaas are used for waether, rain crops and prosperity for the coming year. Commander Abhilash Tomy

It gives me a great pride in remembering that 15th Day of Jan 2017, when I met this great person in Lavasa.I was there on a official workshop where Abhilash sir was invited as chief guest. I was completely unaware of this personality before I heard him giving the speech and telling about circum navigation of the world ( earth ).   Commander Abhilash Tomy is an s an Indian naval officer and yachtsman. In 2013, he became the first Indian to complete a solo, un assisted, non-stop circumnavigation of the globe on INSV Mhadei. He also competed in the 2018 Golden Globe Race. What a phenomenal achievements when you are just 40s and still going for greater heights. I just don’t have enough words to express my feelings. He is not a ordinary soldier, he is champion sailor, decorated Naval officer and he is a ultimate survivor. To me Abhilash Tomy is no less than a miracle.
