Today is 83rd Anniversary of the Mumbai's Iconic Double Decker. Its really proud to say it completes 83years of her Service. Wow..... I still remember those wonderful days of 1989- 92....where my presence in mumbai along with brothers and sisters living in northern suburbs....these Double Deckers are all time favourite of each and every person living in Mumbai including me. It was amazing to travel in these double deckers whenever opportunity comes. I love those double deckers on SV road betwenn Andheri to Borivli....What were those days...no words to express. Currently double decker buses are left with a dwindling number of 120 with BEST, Whenever boarding a Double Decker, my first aim is to rush through the stairs and grab that first seat on the upper deck. Sitting exactly above the driver, enjoying the cool breeze entering through the front window. Travelling in a Double Decker is always a memorable experience.
